I started my career in commercial radio; working for stations across the South West. This included co-hosting my own breakfast show (back in the days where I could stomach getting up at 4am every day:)).
Pursuing a long-held ambition I then started working for the BBC as a broadcast journalist across the West and for 5Live up in Salford. I edited, produced, interviewed and news-read for the BBC for more than 10 years and still do some freelance work for them to this day.
Alongside this I have continued to develop my voiceover work; I’ve been lucky enough to work on a wide variety of sectors, subject matters and with some of the best brands and agencies around. I’ve wooed beer drinkers for Carlsberg, sold bags of postcrete for Bradfords Building Supplies and helped make sure people are saving for their pensions with the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association.
I’m based in wonderful Devon and have a professional grade studio at home so I can work flexibly and quickly to get the job done (the sound-proofing even drowns out my two daughters when needed :)).
